  1. Bring 500 ml water to a gentle simmer.
  2. Cut tofu into small cubes; slice scallions thin.
  3. Add tofu cubes and torn nori to the water.
  4. Reduce heat; do NOT boil after this point.
  5. Whisk miso paste in a ladle of warm broth, stir back in.
  6. Top with scallions and serve immediately.
