- Elbow macaroni80 g
- Sharp cheddar60 g
- Whole milk150 g

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Boil macaroni 2 minutes shy of al dente, drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Slowly pour in warm milk, whisking, until thick and silky.
- Off the heat, stir in two-thirds of the grated cheddar until melted. Fold in the drained macaroni.
- Tip into a baking dish, top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake 12 minutes until golden and bubbling.
