Ingredients
- Split green peas80 g
- Pork ribs (smoked)100 g
- Rookworst50 g
- Carrot80 g
- Celery root (celeriac)50 g
- Leek80 g
- Potato120 g
Instructions
- Rinse split peas and put in a large pot with smoked pork ribs and 2 L water. Bring to a boil, skim, simmer 1 hour.
- Add diced potato, carrot, celeriac and sliced leek. Cook 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
- Lift out the ribs, shred the meat off the bones, return meat to the pot. Add sliced rookworst and warm through 10 minutes. The soup should be thick enough to stand a spoon up in.
