- Cabbage (boiled)150 g
- Lean ground beef (90/10)120 g
- White rice (cooked)80 g
- Onion40 g
- Carrot60 g
- Tomato sauce100 g
- Sour cream30 g
Instructions
- Separate boiled cabbage leaves and trim thick veins so they roll easily.
- Sauté chopped onion and grated carrot in a pan until soft and lightly golden.
- Mix ground beef, cooked rice, half the sautéed vegetables and salt into a filling.
- Place filling on each leaf, fold sides in and roll up tightly into neat parcels.
- Layer rolls in a pot, cover with tomato sauce mixed with remaining vegetables and water.
- Simmer covered for 45 minutes until tender, then serve topped with a dollop of sour cream.
