Instructions
- Place the eggs in a small pot and cover with cold water by 2 cm.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat slightly and simmer for 9 minutes for hard-boiled yolks.
- Drain and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water for 2 minutes.
- Peel the eggs under running water, then halve them lengthwise.
