Instructions
- Melt the butter gently in a small pan and set aside.
- Chop the walnuts finely and mix with the cinnamon.
- Brush a small dish with butter and layer 3 phyllo sheets, buttering each.
- Spread half the walnut-cinnamon mix evenly on top.
- Top with 2 more buttered phyllo sheets, the rest of the nuts, then 2 final sheets.
- Score the top into a single diamond and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle warm honey over the hot baklava and let absorb for 20 minutes.
