Instructions
- Rub cold butter into the flour until the mix resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of cold water and knead briefly to form dough.
- Wrap the dough and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Peel and slice the apple thinly, toss with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough, line a small dish and fill with the apple mix.
- Cover with dough strips or a top crust and pinch the edges to seal.
- Bake at 190°C for 35-40 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly.
