  1. Rub cold butter into the flour until the mix resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cold water and knead briefly to form dough.
  3. Wrap the dough and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  4. Peel and slice the apple thinly, toss with sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll out the dough, line a small dish and fill with the apple mix.
  6. Cover with dough strips or a top crust and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Bake at 190°C for 35-40 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly.
